Project Overview
FMW is excited to announce its involvement in the construction of the new Lutheran Medical Center for SCL Health in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. This $650 million replacement hospital addresses the growing need for high-quality healthcare in Jefferson County and surrounding communities. Slated for full operation in 2024, the new 28-acre site, located just west of the current hospital, promises to deliver advanced, patient-centered care more efficiently.
Project Scope
FMW was tasked with providing essential structural and miscellaneous metal fabrication services for the new Lutheran Medical Center. Our contributions include:
Six custom-designed shot-crete stair cores
Two custom-designed platforms and staircases
One gorgeous grand staircase
13 compliant access ladders
19 elevator pit ladders and sump pit grates
3 central utility plant stairs
Loading dock stair, guardrails and embedded angles
Site rails and FMW professional field measurements
Support Structures: Robust support structures tailored to accommodate medical equipment and improve overall functionality.
